East Jakarta Mayor Muhammad Anwar gave an appreciation to the 10 best neighborhood (RW) task forces in fighting Covid-19 outbreak, on Friday (6/11).
According to the results of the evaluation team's assessment, they managed to suppress the incidence rate (IR) of Covid-19 in a week. They also managed to provide facilities and infrastructure in order to support the implementation of health protocols, such as thermal gun, portable sink, hand sanitizer, etc.

He hoped that those 10 RWs could give examples to other neighborhoods in dealing with Covid, especially in the red, orange and yellow zone areas.

Those 10 best RW task forces appreciated were RW 05 (Cilangkap), RW 09 (Jatinegara Kaum), RW 05 (Cipinang Besar Utara), RW 01 (Tengah), RW 03 (Ciracas), RW 03 (Makasar), RW 01 (Pekayon), RW 08 (Duren Sawit), RW 01 (Kebon Manggis), and RW 01 (Cakung Timur).
RW 08 Duren Sawit Chairman, Laksito revealed it was a challenge for him to maintain and improve on what had been achieved in curbing Covid-19 in his region.
Last week, he noted, there was one active case in the region and the patient is currently undergoing a self-isolation at home. His physical health condition is also normal, just waiting for the final swab from the sub-district puskesmas.
"The handling of Covid carried out by the task force at the RT and RW levels has gone well," he closed.
